Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the beat component produced at a low band FM direct recording system, by suppressing the distortion of a tape head system. CONSTITUTION:In addition to the constitution of the low band FM direct recording system, an amplifier 25 and addition circuit 26 are provided. The amplifier 25 amplifies a single wave produced at the oscillator 17, and the addition circuit adds the output of the recording amplifier 11 consisting of matrix or the like with the output of the amplifier 29. The oscillation output of an oscillator 17 is superimposed and recorded as the AC bias frequency, allowing the bias recording for the low band FM signal with a good linearity. Thus, the spurious components are not produced and the problem of beat component can be avoided.
