Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the branch and insertion as being optical signal, by connecting a plurality of stations via a half mirror to optical transmission lines, reproducing the optical burst signal having greater average power and superimposing it onto the optical burst signal with least average power. CONSTITUTION:A part of the optical power is branched with an optical accessor 20 and incident to an optical electric converter 21, and the converted signal is processed at a line control exchanger 24 and it is fed to the optical accessor 20 via the electric optical converter 22 in the timing not overlapped with the optical burst signal of other stations and delivered as the optical burst signal. In the next station, the delivered optical burst signal is transmitted in the timing overlapped with the optical burst signal low in the power level. A plurality of stations are connected to transmission networks 27a, 27b of optical loop.
