Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the function of azimuth analysis, by adding an auxiliary antenna and a microwave circuit to an array antenna and synthesizing the array antenna signals. With such a constitution, full power is output to a sum terminal 16 when the in-phase equal amplitude is input to input terminals 15a, 15b, and to a difference terminal 17 when the inverse phase equal amplitude is input to them, in the hybrid 15. Thus, when the input amplitude of the main beam, grating lobe, and auxiliary beam to the hybrid 15 is the same, no output to the difference terminal 17 is present to the incident waves from the direction of theta0 and no output from the sum terminal 16 is present to those from the direction of theta1.
