Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately prevent wheels from slipping off and make the weight of an endless rubber tracked belt for a crawler running device lighter by providing the engagement holes of a driving wheel in the concave at the center of the belt main body with a concave-type cross section and projecting grounding lugs in the projection area of a core bar.
CONSTITUTION: The circulation running of the endless belt 1 is driven by engaging the teeth 12 with the engagement holes 11 which are partitioned by the bottom wall 10 of the concave 8' of the core bar 8 formed at the bottom of the concave 7. It is also performed by the friction due to the contact support between each side drum and each top face 15' of a pair of projections 15 formed at both shoulders of the concave 7 in the endless belt 1 in the floating driving wheel 3 and the floating trank roller 4. The floating driving wheel 3 and the floating trank roller 4 are positioned at the center of the side drums 14 and 14 wherein the central drum 13 entering the concave 7 through clearance performs frictional transmission. Only the projected height of the projection 15 can prevent wheels from slipping off since the depth of the concave 7 becomes large.
