Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry a ring-type fluorescent lamp, accurately preventing the deviation of a metallic cap toward the lamp circumferential direction during lamp carriage by retaining the interpin distance of the metallic cap with the use of retaining fixtures and chuck mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A ring-type fluorescent lamp 13 on which a metallic cap 14 is mounted is hung with the use of a retaining fixture 11 which is inserted in the metallic pin and carried. Then the mutually opposed two places on both sides which are in parallel to the circumference centering around the metallic cap 14 in this fluorescent lamp 13 is supported by a pair of holding mechanisms 19. Further, by revolving the holding mechanisms 19, the carrying position of the fluorescent lamp 13 is converted and this lamp whose position is converted is received by a chuck mechanism 31. The lamp 13 is carried to the soldering process with the use of a carrier mechanism 29, holding this position.
