Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to detect abnormality of the stationary blade without disassembling it by an arrangement wherein a detecting line insulated from the metal constituting the stationary blade body is buried in the rear edge of the stationary blade, and both ends of the detecting line are led out from the upper and lower ends of the stationary blade.
CONSTITUTION: A detecting line 6 insulated from the metal constituting a stationary blade 1 by a heat resistant insulator 5 is buried in the rear edge of the stationary blade 1. Contactors 7 are mounted to the ends of a detector 9 via springs 8 and abutted to respective terminals 6a formed at the both ends of the detecting line 6 through the action of the spring 8. A lead wire 10 is connected to the contactors 7 and led out to the outside of a turbine through an inspection hole 3a. In this arrangement, when the lead wire 10 is connected to a resistance meter, it can be easily detected whether or not the detecting line 6 is disconnected and further there is occured a crack not smaller than a predetermined length at the rear edge of the stationary blade 1. Thus, it becomes possible to judge abnormality of the stationary blade by only stopping the turbine without disassembling the same.
