CONSTITUTION:Ink drops jetted from an ink jet head 1 are charged by means of a charge electrode 3, and is then deflected by means of a deflection electrode 4 according to a charge amount for reaching a recording sheet 10 on a rotary drum 6. In this case, distances lambda1-lambda3 between ink drops becomes lambda1<lambda2<lambda3 due to the distortion resulted by the air resistance and deflection. Simultaneously, the ink drops are subjected to the charge distortion due to static induction of preceding drops, and flight traces become X1>...>X4.
