Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve operation and to reduce cost by connecting a recorder to a color image pickup device via one signal line and by making the constitution to have capability of control of the timing of switching between the rotary phase of a rotary head and the phase of a modulated color signal. CONSTITUTION:Luminance signal EY from color head 1 is frequency-modulated by frequency modulating circuit 2 and modulated color signal EC has the carrier converted into a low frequency by frequency converter 5. On the other hand, oscillator 4 receives horizontal synchronizing signal SH to rotate the phase of its oscillation output by 90 deg. in every horizontal period. For this purpose, vertical synchronizing signal SV is frequency-divided by FF circuit 19, whose output is sent to oscillator 4. At a recorder side, if vertical synchronizing signal SV outputted by synchronizing signal separating circuit 29 becomes out of phase with the output of FF19, the output of comb filter 25 is detected by detector 30 to reset FF circuit 32. As both the signals become in phase with each other, the output of circuit 32 is converted 37 into a trapezoid wave, which is supplied to sample holding circuit 38, whose output error signal is sent to motor 40.
