Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a delayed AGC circuit by receiving an AGC voltage by an emitter follower and by exercising gain control by the output of a voltage dividing circuit provided at its emitter successively from the poststage circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output of detecting circuit 3 is converted into a direct current by resistance R3 and capacitor C1 to obtain AGC voltage VAGC. Then, VAGC is applied to transistor Q14 and from its emitter, VAGC1 and voltage-divided VAGC2 are obtained. Next, VAGC1 is applied to intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 2 to control its gain and VAGC2, on the other hand, is applied to frequency converting circuit 1 to control its gain. Namely, the gain of intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 2 is decreased according to a rise in AGC voltage and when the AGC voltage rises more, the gain of frequency converting circuit 1 lowers.
