Abstract

PURPOSE: Titled resin composition providing conductive sheets having desired electric resistance and low fluctuation in electric resistance, prepared by filling a polyolefin with carbon black and adding an inorganic filler to the filled polyloefin.
CONSTITUTION: Titled resin composition which has an electric resistance in the range of 105W108Ω, and whose resistance is eaily controlled, is obtained by filling a polyolefin such as high-density or low-density polyethylene, polypropylene or an ethylene/vinyl acetate resin, with carbon black such as furnace black or acetylene black, and adding to the filled polyolefin, at least 6wt%, based on the polyolefin, of an inorganic filler such as calcium carbonate, talc or magnesium oxide. The mechanism by which the above advantages can be brought about is as follows. The action of the inorganic filler stabilizes the flow or resin during extrusion and allows the carbon black to disperse uniformly. Thereby, even during cooling after extrusion, the carbon black remains still in the uniformly dispersed state.
