Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a film having an improved printing property, by a method wherein orefin resin film, for use with gravure printing, is formed such that a composition, consisting of a specified proportion of orefine resin and an inorganic fillers powder, is formed into a film.
CONSTITUTION: A composition, consisting of 100 weight part orefin resin and 3W 30 weight part inorganic fillers powder, except heavy calcium carbonate, having 20PPM or less contents of particles not passing through a 325 mesh screen, is formed into a film. The film so obtained is stretched in at least the uniaxial direction at lower then the melting point of the orefin resin to form a stretched film. A homo polymer of orefin, such as ethylene, propylene, copolymer of them, polystyrene and the like are enumerated as the orefin resin used thereupon.
