Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a film which has no uneven printing and an excellent printing property, and is useful for use as synthetic paper and the like, by a method wherein a composition, consisting of olefin resin and heavy calcium carbonate powder of a given particle diameter, is stretched at a temperature lower than a melting point of a resin after the prepn-of a film is taken place
CONSTITUTION: A composition, consisting of (A) 100pts.wt. of olefin resin (for example; polypropylene and the like) and (B) 3W30pts.wt. of heavy calcium carbonate powder in which contents of particles, not passing through a 325 mesh screen, are 5ppm or less, is formed into a film by means of an extruder and the like. Said film is stretched in at least uniaxial direction at a temperature lower than a melting point of a resin belonging to the component (A). Thereby a desired film, in which a number of huge particles 2 emerging from a film 1 surface, or calcium carbonates 3 flocculated into a huge particle are 500 pieces or less, in a powder of 44μ or more in a particle diameter l, per 1m2 of a film 1 area.
