A plurality of terminal devices 8 are connected to an exchanging station 7, to which facsimile, word processor and digital telephone are connected. Further, the communication between the station CS6 and the exchanging station 7 is made in frame unit of two types of formats, a single data is transmitted to arbitrary plurality of terminals to enable polling communication and to increase the efficiency of line usage.
