Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to transfer information only via one junction line in case that there are several terminals which can be connected via the same junction line from an originating station, by making it possible to transmit and receive multi- terminal connection information as communication control information between the originating station and terminating station.
CONSTITUTION: To make multiple-address communication from subscriber SUB1 to subscribers SUB2 and SUB3, additional information on a connection to multiple- address terminals SUB2 and SUB3, once its switchboard SW1 discriminates that information from subscriber SUB1 is for multiple-address communication, is sent out from subscriber SUB1 to terminating switchboard SW2 as control information for receiving multiple-address communication. Then, SW2 makes connections between multiple-address communication unit SITE2, and SUB1 and multiple- address communication party subscribers SUB2 and SUB3. Next, messages of SUB1 are distributed to SUB 2 and 3 by SITE2, thereby making multiple-address communication.
