Abstract
PURPOSE:To set the standard white color through a cathode ray tube itself without employing other correction circuitry, by varying the effective brightness at a metal pack portion for each fluorescent stripe, while varying effective reflection factor. CONSTITUTION:A solution of photosensitive resin mainly composed of polyvinyl alcohol etc. is coated on a fluorescent face, dried, then only the back of red and green fluorescent material is exposed and hardened through predetermined mask, and washed by water to remove not-exposed section. Thereafter, a solution of the same photosensitive resin is coated and dried, and the fluorescent face is exposed entirely, while the not-exposed section is removed to obtain the depth of resin film at the back of red and green fluorescent material twice that of other portion. Thereafter, water soluble emulsion of acryl resin is coated as the second layer film, then dried to form a basic metal layer and an aluminum film is furthermore formed over it. Consequently, standard white color can be set by a cathode ray tube itself.
