Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable forming of random and natural patterns by jetting the fluid such as water and air on to an inorganic fiber board from the back side of a wire net on the occasion of vacuum adsorption.
CONSTITUTION: A wire net 1 is arranged in the middle of a board machine A and, the pressure being reduced at the back of the wire net 1 by a vacuum pump, board- making slurry 2 is adsorbed to the surface of the wire net 1, thus the board-making is performed. On the other hand, a nozzle 3 jetting toward the back surface of the net 1 is provided and the fluid, such as air, is jetted concurrently with the board-making, thereby concave patterns 4 is formed on the surface of the slurry 2 contacting with the wire net 1.
