Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a seismic proof property by a method wherein a coupling plate, a rigidity strengthining metal and an auxiliary base are installed and the spring constant of a transformer main body is raised so that a resonance with seismic wave may not be generated. CONSTITUTION:A coupling plate 20 for fixing a face of a rigidity strengthning metal 18 having a L letter section is fixed at the end face of a U letter type lower clamping metal 3. The other face of the rigidity strengthing metal 18 is fixed at a L letter type auxiliary base 16 fixed in a floor 10 through foundation bolts 19 by means of coupling bolts 15. An insulating plate 6 prevents an iron core 2 from a short circuit due to a base metal 5, accordingly, the insulating plate 6 contacts with the lower end part of the iron core 2 but it is not placed between the base metal 5 and the lower part clamping metal 3. By constituting in this way, the lower part clamping metals at both sides of the iron core 2 are restricted from deformation even when a seismic wave is received, accordingly, a turning of the metal 3 and a deformed gap generation are prevented and a turning spring constant can be made larger. Accordingly, a resonace with a seismic wave is prevented and a seismic proofness can be improved.
