Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the adjacent part to a wall plane block from breakdown due to an unequal sinking or a back earth pressure by a method wherein a prefabricated lightweight steel material is assembled to form a slope stabilizing structure.
CONSTITUTION: A strut member 1 of shape steel material and a joint member 3 are fixed in an intersecton or parallel type with fitting bolts 7 and are covered with a combination of a metallic network 5 and a planted material 6 and further, a back side back filling part 8 is buried with sediment or a soil cement to make it into a one body with a structure. Further, instead of covering with the metallic networks 5 and the planed material 6, sand bags are used and they are piled in the structure. The structure is composed of a combination of prefabricated members such as the strut member 1, a timbering member 2, a joint member 3, bolts 3 and steel frames 4, as a result, even when the ground is soft and an unequal sinking occurs, the structure changes freely and if a concentrated stress occurs, cracks are not generated. Further, since the slope stabilizing structure is made of the prefabricated members, construction is simple and a construction term is short, thus, construction can be performed without skilled workers.
