Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate gap irregularity between the stator and the rotor by mounting a forced deformation device regulating a radial deformation quantity of the stator on a ring holder attached to the axial end of a stator frame. CONSTITUTION:A stator frame 13 and both end plates 14, 15 of a stator 6 are provided with big ring holders 10, 11 which are more rigid than the stator. The ring holders 10, 11 are mounted with plurality of forced deformation devices 12 regulating a stator deformation quantity. The forced deformation devices are constituted by furnishing the ring holders 10, 11 with push bolts and are so made as to forcedly push up the stator iron core radially. Thereby the stator radial deformation quantity is regulated thus to eliminate the gap irregularity between the inner diameter of the stator and the outer diameter of the rotor.
