Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a dulling and continuously manufacture the captioned polyester bottle by forming an intermediate material of a bottomed cylindrical shape using saturated polyester resin predried at high temperature and elongating and expanding it in a biaxial direction. CONSTITUTION:When a transparent saturated polyester bottole is manufactured using an intermediate material of a bottomed cylindrical shape, saturated polyester resin which is a material for forming an intermediate material is predried at high temperature to reduce the oligomer component of resin components. The percentage of the said component shall be below 0.5% under a measurement method based on an extraction in chloroform at 60 deg.C for 24hr. Thus it is possible to prevent troubles such as a dulling generated on the surface of a bottle as time elapses or the difficulty to remove a formed product because of its sticking to a die, when an intermediate material is blow-formed.
