CONSTITUTION:An encoder 5 inputs chroma signals R, G, B and a synchronizing signal output from a transmitter 2 and transmits color video signal BD consisting of a luminance signal Y and a chroma signal C. In this case, the luminance signal of the color video signal BD output from an encoder 5 is set to the similar band as that of NTSC system, and the chroma signal C is set to the band not to be overlapped with that of the luminance signal Y. The color video signal BD is fed to a color television receiver via one transmission line 6 having a broad band characteristics.
