Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve excellent voltage charge by obtaining flat characteristics within the stabilized range of input-voltage-to-output-voltage characteristics by interposing a diode between an unstabilized input terminal and the base of a transistor for error amplification.
CONSTITUTION: When the power voltage is applied to input terminal 1, the voltage set by voltage-dividing resistances 17 and 18 is applied to the base of error-amplifying transistor TR3 via diode 19 and further base resistance 13 to actuate a stabilized power source circuit. After it is actuated temporarily, part of the output voltage is applied to the cathode of diode 19, but values of voltage-dividing resistances 17 and 18 are so set that diode 19 will turn off at this time. Current input-voltage-to- output-voltage characteristics are flat within the stabilized range. As a result, built- in battery 21 can be charged without requiring overvoltage preventing circuit 22.
