Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the steam supply pipe in the lower part of a deaeration cylinder from being cracked by vibrations, impact, etc. and being eroded by supporting said pipe by means of plural flexible supporting members having elasticity, in a deaerator of a heat power plant.
CONSTITUTION: A deaerating cylindrical body 2 of tightly closed type is mounted to a water storage tank 1, and plural water supply pipes 4 are installed to the upper part of said body 2. A deaerating tray member 6 is held by means of supports 5, 5 to right under the water supply pipes 4, and plural flexible supporting members 14 having elasticity are studded to the deaerating cylindrical body bottom part 2b in the lower part thereof. A steam supply pipe 1 is welded to these members 14. The elongation of said pipe owing to the temp. difference between the body 2 and the pipe 11 is absorbed by these members 14; in addition, the vibrations to be produced by the fluid pressure owing to the ejection of steam from the steam ejection holes 13 of the pipe 11 are also absorbed; thus the pipe 1 is prevented from being cracked by said elongation or vibrations and from being eroded.
