Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the engine revolving speed in currents of more than a constant load current by a method wherein a load current flowing in a generator and a current flowing in a condenser exciting winding is limited by the output. CONSTITUTION:A stator of a generator is provided with a load winding 1 and a condenser exciting winding 2 and a rotor 4 is provided with a field winding 5 and a rectifying element 6. The load current is detected by a current transformer 7, the output thereof after rectified is connected to a coil 10b of an electromagnetic relay 10 through Zener diode 13, and a condenser 9 is connected in parallel with a series circuit of a resistor 11 and a contact 10a. Accordingly, when an increase of the load current makes the Zener diode be continued, the relay 10 acts to cause part of phase advance currents to be consumed in the resistor 11 to decrease and also the output voltage to be lowered, so that the constant revolution of the engine can be maintained without stopping.
