Abstract

PURPOSE:To adapt a variable attenating circuit to LSI implementation by enabling the control of a computer by supplying an analog signal input to resistors, connected to switches respectively, via an input buffer amplifying circuit. CONSTITUTION:An analog signal voltage applied to signal input terminal 1 is passed through input buffer amplifier 4 and led to terminals (a) of N switches 701...70N and one terminal of resistor 61. Then, terminals (b) of switches 701- 70N are grounded and terminals (c) are also connected to one-side terminals of resistor groups 601-60N provided as many as the power of ''2''. The other-side terminals of N+1-number resistances of resistor groups 601-60N and 61 are all connected in common to the input terminal of output buffer amplifier 5 and the analog signal output of amplifier 5 is outputted from terminal 3. Consequently, since each switch can be controlled externally, the attenuation can be set under the control of a computer and a relative resistance value is required, so that this will be suitable to LSI implementation.
