Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a miniature, compact device, providing a normal image of nonmagnification, easily at low cost by arraying at least three arrays of platelike fresnel lenses in the direction of the optical axis while making them coincide with the optical axis.
CONSTITUTION: At least three platelike fresnel lens arrays 11, 12 and 13 in the same shape are supported by holder 17 at their outsides at prescribed intervals so that they coincide with optical axes of corresponding micro fresnel lenses 14, 15 and 16, and corresponding lenses 14, 15 and 16 are shielded from one another by shielding method 30 to form fresnel image-forming element 10. In the electrophotographic copier, this element 10 is used being arranged at the optical intermediate position between the original surface of original 19 mounted on original table 18 and the photosensitive surface of photoreceptor drum 10.
