Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a pipe unit, used for heating a tank in a vessel loaded with crude oil and the like, which is easy to clean and to manufacture, by a method wherein pipes, which are bent in the same shape, are connected together in a spiral for being fixed at pipe support frames, standing upright in parallel to each other, from both sides. CONSTITUTION:Support frames X and Y, which have legs 1 and 2 positioned in parallel, are caused to stand upright, and pipes 5a and 5b are connected together by means of couplings 6 from both sides so that ends 5a''' and 5b''' are positioned in a lower place in the order, and a part where the pipes cross the parallel legs 1 and 2 is secured by means of a clip 8 through the medium of a spacer. Couplings 9 with a flange are fitted at both ends of the connected pipe 5. This permits the simple fabrication of a heating pipe unit by just preparing for the bent pipes and the couplings, and enables obtaining of the heating pipe unit which prevents sludge, water and the like from gathering at the inside thereof.
