Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform titled operation stably by detecting the deviations of the actual position of the carriage of loopers with respect to its set value and controlling the acceleration and deceleration of bridle rollers based on these deviations. CONSTITUTION:Elevating positions of a carriage C are detected with a detector 1. The pulses conforming to the positions of the carriage C are oscillated by a pulse generator 2 and are passed through a counter 3. The detected signal A thereof is compared with the set value B by a synchronous position setter 4 which is made arbitrarily variable, in a comparator 5. The speed of bridle rollers (b) is changed by the deviation signal (A-B). When A-B=0, the output of a function generator 7 is 1, that is, the rollers (b) revolve as per the command from a speed main line 8. When A-B>0, the output of the generator 7 becomes >=1, and the value thereof is multiplied to the output of the main line 8 by a multiplier 9, by which the rollers (b) are revolved faster. This is reversed when A-B<0.
