Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a hardly foaming suspended paint, by feeding a suspended paint into a kneading tank filled with beads and agitating it under reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:By evacuating kneading tank 1 filled with bead 3, by the acutuation of vacuum pump 11, a suspended paint in tank 10 is sucked into the tank 1 from paint inlet 13 through flexible hose 12. The tank 1 is disengaged from the tank 10, by closing motor-driven valve 16, and temperature in the tank 1 is controlled by passing cooling water through jacket 7, keeping pressure in the tank 1 at-100mm.- 750mm.Hg. Then after kneading and dispersing pigment with agitation by means of agitator 5 by the actuation of driving device for agitation 6, motor driven valve 15 is closed, and pressure in in the tank 1 is equilibrated to atomospheric pressure by the gradual introduction of air into the tank 1 through compressed air inlet 17. A suspended paint is recovered into recovering tank 18, by opening exit 14 and supplying compressed air from the inlet 17.
