Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the decrease of the accuracy in width due to the unevenness of the tensile force by making the separate tensile force act on each tape after slitting in a device wherein the tape such as a magnetic tape is slit from an original roll of tape and is wound round a reel.
CONSTITUTION: The tape 30 slit into strips in plural by a cutter unit is wound round the reel through a group of friction driving rollers. In this case, the group of the friction driving rollers is constituted by driving rollers 41 which are fitted on a driving shaft 40 supported rotatably by frames 28 and 29 and correspond to the number of strips of the tape 30 to be driven and by nip rollers 51 which are fitted to a fixed shaft 50 fixed to a shakable lever 54 and are of the same number with the driving rollers 41. The driving rollers 41 are fitted on the shaft 40 through the intermediary of a ball bearing 42, and by tightening the rollers 41 properly by a nut 45 with a spacer 43 being put intermediately between them and the adjacent ball bearing 42, the transfer torque from the shaft 40 to the driving rollers 41 is made adjustable.
