Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the stabilization and to lower the cost by a method wherein it is constituted that a variable frequency active filter and a frequency dividing circuit are combined and the phase comparison is performed without multiplying a frequency. CONSTITUTION:Voltage control oscillators 22, 23 generate signals of a frequencies of mpF, nqF, respectively and are divided respectively through frequency dividing circuits 24, 25 by p, q and then, generate difference detection circuit 12 compares an output of the frequency divider 24 and an output mF of an intermediate frequency amplifier 10 and generates an output in accordance with a phase difference. The output signal of the circuit 12 passes through a LPF16 and enters the voltage control oscillator 22, thus, the output mpF of the oscillator 22 being in a same phase and synchronized with the intermediate frequency signal mF. In the same way, the voltage control oscillator 23 generates an output of a frequency of nqF which is in a same phase and synchronized with the output nF of an intermediate frequency amplifier 11. Next thereto, the phase difference detection circuit 20 generates an output in accordance with the phase difference between the output mpF of the voltage control oscillator 22 and the output nqF of the voltage control oscillator 23 and issues commands. With this constitution, a multiplification circuit is not used, as a result, a phase variation is extremely small, thus, raising a stability and making a cost cheap.
