Abstract
PURPOSE: To set an injection timing during a compression stroke without necessitating a pressure regulating valve by a method wherein an opening position of a liquid injection port is set within a predetermined range of angle.
CONSTITUTION: This multivane compressor is characterized in setting in the multivane compressor being provided with a liquid injection system and having an elliptic or similar cylinder configuration wherein an opening position of a liquid injection port 5 is set at a leading side more than 360/n° (n: a number of sheets of the vane) from a suction port 2 and at a trailing side from a contacting point P. According to this setting, an injection timing may be set and controlled during a compression stroke by the opening position of said port 5, therefore, a prior art pressure regulation valve has become unnecessary and the improvement of reliability as well as a simplification of a structure of the liquid injection type multivane compressor may be contrived.
