Abstract

PURPOSE: To set an injection timing during a compression stroke without necessitating a pressure regulating valve by a method wherein an opening position of a liquid injection port is set within a predetermined range of angle.
CONSTITUTION: This multivane compressor is characterized in a setting in the compressor having a circular cylinder provided with a liquid injection system wherein an opening position of a liquid injection port 5 in a cylinder 1 is set at a leading side more than 360/n° (n: a number of sheets of vanes) from a suction port 2 and at a trailing side from a contact point P. According to this setting, an injection timing may be set and controlled during a compression stroke by the opening position of said port 5, therefore, a prior art pressure regulating valve has become unnecessary and the improvement of reliability as well as simplification of structures of the liquid injection type multivane compressor may be contrived.
