Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an averaged magnetic flux density in each magnetic flux path in a rotary electric machine by bringing the rib of a rotary shaft coincident to the position of the center of a magnetic pole, thereby decreasing the magnetic flux density of the interpole yoke. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of ribs 2 are provided on the rotary shaft 1, a coil 4 is wound on the magnetic pole 3, and vent passages 6, 7 are formed with the ribs 2 and the duct pieces 5. Then, the ribs 2 of the rotary shaft are disposed at the axial position of the center 11 of the magnetic pole. Since the magnetic flux 12 passed through the center 11 of the magnetic pole is partly passed through the ribs 2 in this manner, the magnetic flux density 13 between the magnetic poles can be decreased, and accordingly averaged magnetic flux can be obtained in each magnetic flux path, thereby increasing the capacity of the rotary electric machine.
