Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to incorporate the control for the display device for car telephone with the operation of a car, by controlling the brightness of display device and illuminating lamp through the use of a light switch LS signal for a car. CONSTITUTION:A brightness control line 11 is connected to the power line from a car LS to light, and the voltage of battery is fed through the application of LS. The functions of a car telephone set 1 are controlled with a microcomputer muCM2 and the control for the display device 3 and the illumination lamp 4 is similarly made. When the lights of a car are off, the voltage on the control line 11 is at low level, the brightness of the display device 3 is not controlled and no illumination lamp is illuminated. When the lights of the car are on, the voltage on the control line 11 is at high level, the muCM2 reads in the state, and the brightness is lowered by intermittent digit sweep for the display device 3. Further, the muCM2 makes high the connecting port of a lamp drive circuit 6 to illuminate the illumination lamp 4.
