Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect lack of parts without contact, by providing a detection coil, which utilizes the eddy current and is sensitive to the distance to metallic materials, near the object to be checked which is put on the rotary supporting material and by comparing the detection value of this detection coil and a required set value with each other.
CONSTITUTION: In case of detection for lack of rotating materials 16 of antifrictional bearing 15, the inductance of detection coil 1 changes dependently upon existence of rotating materials 16 by rotation of rotary supporting material 13, and the detection signal is obtained by high frequency oscillating circuit 2 and is input to AND circuit 10 through detector 3, amplifier 4, and comparator 5. Meanwhile, counter reset circuit 17 receives the check start signal to reset preset counters 7, 8 and 11, and they are set to the count start state. Passage of slit 14 dependent upon rotation of rotary supporting material 13 is detected twice by contactless switch 6. (The number of rotating materials × the rotation freqency of the antifrictional bearing)-1 is set to preset counter 11 previously; and if the count number of rotating materials does not agree with a prescrided set value, it is decided that the prescribed number of rotating material 16 is not inserted to antifrictional bearing 15, and it is decided as a defective.
