NH3 recovering fluid 3 is cooled with refrigerant 12 in gas- liquid heat exchanger 12 and introduced into the upper part of tower 1. Gas 2 and fluid 3 are further cooled with pipe 7 for leading refrigerant 12 from exchanger 11, and the NH3 in gas 2 is almost thoroughly absorbed and stored in tank 6. Water is used for fluid 3, and "Flon R-12 or the like is used for refrigerant 12. Refriger ant 12 is recirculated with compressor 8 through expansion valve 9, heat exchangers 10, 11, and pipe 7.
