Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable absorption of an influence due to a slack in a shaft, and prevent the occurence of a play, by a method wherein one of surfaces, where an inner race part of a radial bearing, rotably supporting a cylindrical roller, contacts opposite ends of an axis, is formed in an arc of a circle at a cross section in the axial direction.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing rest 2, mounted monolithically with a roller 1 at opposite ends of a cylindrical roller 1, is matched with an outer case 4 of a radial ball bearing 3, and the movement of the bearing rest in the axial direction is checked by means of a C-shaped ring 5. A bush 8 combined with a distance collar, whose contact surface is formed in an arc of a circle, is fitted in an inner race of the bearing 3, and the end of a shaft 12 is supported at a frame 11 of a roller conveyor 10 in a state such that said bush 8 pierces. This permits the absorption of the influence even if the shaft 12 is bent with a load applied to the roller 1 and inclination is produced between the axis of the inner race 6 and the axis of the bush 8.
