Abstract

PURPOSE:To lighten a load on a data processing program by obtaining a comparison voltage by equally dividing given data by 2 between its upper limit value and lower limit value. CONSTITUTION:When ANLO is A/D-converted, multiplexer 4 selects ANLO and the upper limit value and lower limit value of ANLO are set in registers 1a and 1b respectively. The contents of registers 1a and 1b are converted by D/A converters 6a and 6b into analog values, which are applied to D/A converter 2 via buffers 7a and 7b. Consequently, the potential difference between the upper and lower limit values is equally divided by 2 and voltage comparator 3 obtains the l-bit digital value closest to ANLO.
