Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a rocket from rolling by installing a rocking mechanism to a nozzle for a rocket's attitude control device and a compensation rod to the opposite side of the rocking mechanism as well.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 2 is connected to a rocket's motor chamber 1 through a flexible joint 5. A cylindrical portion 8 is installed on the periphery of the nozzle 2. A rocking mechanism 14 consisting of an atuator 12 is also installed between the cylindrical portion 8 and the chamber 1, thereby controlling the attitude of rockets. A compensation rod 15 is also installed on the cylindrical portion 8 on the opposite side of the rocking mechanism 14. This compensation rod 15 is connected to the chamber 1 through a connecting ring 9. With this construction, fluctuation of the nozzle 2 is prevented.
