Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare gum mixing with an excellent carbon dispersion degree by a method wherein the gum mixture temperature during mixing is detected and the oil throwing in (or a ram pressure change) is performed after a fixed time from the time when a temperature rising rate is showing the greatest value.
CONSTITUTION: Into a chamber 1 provided with a heating jacket 2 the raw material gum, carbon black are charged from the injection holes 6, 7 respectively to lower a ram 9 and turn a rotor 3 for mixing and to successively measure its temperature through a detector 12. Next, when a maximum value detector 14 has detected the maximum value of the differential output gained by treating the output of detector 12 with a differenciator 13, a time counter 15 is started through a signal from the detector 14 to compare its performance at the comparing part with the prescribed time t set in advance at the time setting part 16 and when both are coincided each other, the comparing part 17 sends a decision signal and on said signal the oil is injected in the chamber 1 from an injection nozzle 8. Further the ram pressure may be changed using said decision signal.
