Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the regenerative operation of the commutatorless motor by isolating the feedback circuit of motor winding generating energy used at the time of driving the motor using switching means and operating the thyristor bridge circuit as an external commutated inverter. CONSTITUTION:Switches 19, 20 are closed at driving time, and motor winding generating excessive energy due to commutation phenomenon is fed back through a diode bridge circuit 17 to a capacitor 18. The switches 19, 20 are opened at the regenerative time and all gate turn-off thyristors 3-8 are conducted and operated as diodes. Thus, the counter-electromotive force of the motor 9 is rectified through the gate turn-off thyristors 3-8, its DC voltage operates the thyristor bridge circuit 1 as an external commutated inverter, thereby regenerating to the power source side.
