Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the ventilation of long sized passenger room of the bus, by arranging an air dynamic pressure opening to the rear part of a roof of the bus, a power exhaust fan to a negative pressure developing section located at the forward part of the roof, and fixed regulation type exhaust openings to negative pressure developing sections at side walls of the body. CONSTITUTION:Dynamic pressure tends to develop in the passenger room, as the air will flow into the passenger room according to the running speed of the bus through the air dynamic pressure opening 5 in the rear part of the ceiling 4 of the body. On the other hand, when the power exhaust fan 6 arranged to the forward part of the boby is operated to suck out the air in the passenger room, by synergistic effect of it with negative pressure developed at the forward part of the body a large exhausting force is developed, and therefore the air is sucked in through the dynamic pressure 5 and is forcibly discharged from the exhaust fan 6. Further, when the fixed regulation type exhaust openings are optionaly opened, the air in the passenger can be discharge under negative pressure. Accordingly, the long size passenger room of the bus can be forcibly ventilated.
