Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid nonuniform supply of fuel due to stagnation of gases resulted from the decomposition of fuel when the fuel is supplied to a fuel chamber through a filter from a fuel flow path formed in a wall of the fuel chamber, by forming the filter with a multi-porous fuel filter of special configurations. CONSTITUTION:Fuel is supplied to a fuel chamber 3 from a fuel flow path 7 through a multi-porous fuel filter 6. Here, the filter 6 has a downwardly extending projection which is dipped in the fuel. Owing to the provision of the projection, even if decomposed gases remain on parts of the surfaces of the filter 6, the fuel may still be supplied in the directions indicated by arrows in the drawing to the fuel chamber 3 through the projection where the decomposition gases are not present.
