Abstract

PURPOSE:To make easy the operation of sound field correction, by automatically controlling the graphic equalizer so that the output of frequency analysis can be desired characteristics. CONSTITUTION:To a graphic equalizer 2 in which the amplitude frequency characteristics are set flat in advance, pink noise is fed from a pink noise generator 1, it is amplified at an amplifier 3 and fed to a speaker 5 in a listening room 4. The acoustic signal in matching the speaker 5 with sound field is collected in the microphone 6, it is frequency-analyzed through band pass filters 71-7n corresponding to each filter in the graphic equalizer 2 and fed to a digital operation processor 10 via detectors 81-8n and A/D converters 91-9n. The digital operation processor 10 automatically controls the level of each resonant point of the graphic equalizer 2 so that the result of band frequency analysis can be desired frequency characteristics.
