Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the circuit integration easy, by making stable a voltage between collector and emitter of an input side transistor in cascode connection transistors with a voltage source consisting of an FET and a diode. CONSTITUTION:Since a transistor TR4 and an FET TR5 are of opposite polarity with inverted Darlington connection, the drain current of TR5 is less and the voltage between gate and source is surely developed even with a field effect transistor with less IDSS. Thus, a current flows to diodes D1-D3 via a resistor R4 with an inverted bias voltage between source and gate of TR5, and a voltage between collector and emitter of a transistor TR6 is fixed to the source voltage of TR5.
