Abstract

PURPOSE: To always make the photographing condition satisfactory, by emitting an auxiliary light in case when the partial light reading value is remarkably dark comparing with the averaged overall light reading value.
CONSTITUTION: The partial light reading value which has been logarithmically compressed by the partial light reading photosensitive element PDs and the operational OAS is compared with the averaged overall light reading which has been logarthmically compressed and is generated at the same time, by the comparator CO2. And in case when the partial light reading value is remarkably dark comparing with the averaged overall reading, an electric flash mode (EP) output is generated from the comparator CO2, and an auxiliary light is emitted. At the same time the EP mode display LEOLEP in the field of view of the finder is turned on, the analog switch AS1, etc. are closed, and the regular exposure LEDLS, LA, etc. are turned off. Accordingly, the photographing condition always becomes satisfactory, and also it can be recognized that the auxiliary light is used.
