Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the rotation balance adjustable in a short time by providing grooves in the vicinity of the end of a pole, measuring the balance by rotating the rotor, and cutting off the end portion by illuminating laser light to the unbalanced groove. CONSTITUTION:Cut-out grooves 6 which extend in the axial direction are provided in the vicinity of the end of the head portion of a rotor pole 2, and a neck is formed at the end of the pole. After a rotor winding has been wound, a rotor 9 is rotated at a high speed above a balance measuring unit 10, and the rotating balance is measured by a sensor 11. If unbalance has been sensed, laser light is illuminated to the grooves 6 of the pole 2 from a laser oscillator 14 triggered by a laser oscillating trigger 13. The balance is adjusted by cutting off the neck being positioned beyond the grooves 6 or by making a hole in the grooves 6. In this method, the balance can be adjusted by measuring the balance in a short time.
