Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to transport a high-viscous fluid through a long distance by use of a low-pressure fluid, by connecting double pipes having therein a resilient diaphragm pipe to each other by the intermediary of valves, and transporting the high- viscous fluid through a pipe line divided into a plurality of sections having specific lengths.
CONSTITUTION: Double pipes are connected to a piping 3 for pressurized driving fluid (intake system) and a piping 4 for pressurized driving fluid (discharge system). These double pipes, consisting of an outer pipe 1 and a resilient diaphragm pipe 2, are connected to each other by the intermediary of valves V1, V2, V3 and so on, in the manner that internal spaces T1, T2, T3 and so on are defined inside the diaphragm pipes 2 by the valves V1, V2, V3 and so on. Transportation of fluid in the spaces defined inside the diaphragm pipes is accomplished by the procedures indicated at (1)W(3) in the drawing. With such an arrangement, fluid can be transported from T1 to T2 and then from T2 to T3 successively by opening and closing valves V appropriately, and the fluid is transported through a pipe line divided into a plurality of sections having specific lengths. Therefore, it is enabled to transport a high-viscous fluid through a long distance by use of a low-pressure fluid.
