Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the engine operation at the start and at the low speed rotation thereof and further to maintain the engine operation in an optimum condition at the high speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:In a four-cylinder engine, the time interval of TDC signal 13 from the cylinder #1 is counted by a rotation measuring counter 11. On the basis of the counted data, the engine rotation number is determined by an operator 10. The operator 10 compares the current engine rotation number thus determined with a reference rotation number and outputs a selection signal 16 having a value ''1'' when the current engine rotation number is more than the reference rotation number whereas it outputs a selection signal 16 having a value ''0'' when the current engine rotation number is less than the reference rotation number. The operator 10 calculates from a cylinder selecting signal from a cylinder selector 12 and an engine rotation number signal to determine at what timing the injection valve is opened and which cylinders are to be used. The calculated data is outputted to a counter decorder 15, which outputs independently driving control pulses 18 to 21 when the selection signal bears a value ''1'', whereas outputs simultaneously driving pulse 17 when the selection signal bears a value ''0''. Thus the respective injection value is controlled.
